Today Inside Edition decided that they wanted to observe The Groupawn in his natural environment.
6:30am - The crew arrived at Phil & Relissa’s home in Coronado to see an example of a bartered place to stay. For the next two hours they proceeded to interview us on the Live Off Groupon experience.
8:30am - Inside Edition followed us (in my Zipcar) to La Jolla Beach for a sea cave tour from La Jolla Kayak. This experience was one of the highlights of my year thus far and I was glad that my new friends were able to get off work to tag along.

Quick travel update…
I am currently in what the locals would call snowy San Diego, CA. Apparently two flurries and a little drizzle is extreme weather, meanwhile I’m still wearing shorts and enjoying the water.

The amount of wildlife on display here in San Diego has made me acutely aware of the lack thereof in many other parts of the country (at least that I’ve visited). After the incredible fishing trip when I first arrived where I was thrilled to see:

Valentine’s Day
Considering the circumstances of this year, I felt it was extremely important to do something for this Valentine’s Day that would somewhat make up for my absence (not just on this day but for the whole year).
Sure, flowers are a lovely gesture and I just so happened to have a Groupon for FTD handy, but that just didn’t quite seem like enough…
